This page shows you the type of fencing available, starting with the cheapest panel fencing moving up to close board erected on concrete posts. All panels and boards are treated prior to erection and the timber used on the posts is all  Larch. All the posts are concreted into the ground. In the case of close board, posts are left for several days before the fence is erected.

Most panels are erected using 3” wood or concrete posts as above. There are other combinations available, but these are the most popular ones.

Next is close board fencing, with vertical 5” boards overlapping 1” at a time. These are normally erected on 4” wood posts or concrete posts, the boards sit on a 6” gravel board nailed onto 3 cant rails. Close board panels are becoming increasingly popular using either timber or concrete posts at 6’ intervals.
